GUMFLOW
GUMFLOW is a high-speed momentum platformer about a piece of gum that absolutely refuses to be chewed.
Run, bounce, stretch, stick, launch yourself through loops and try very hard not to become somebody's afternoon snack.
🍬 KEEP THE FLOW
Build speed and chain movements together through seven increasingly ridiculous worlds.
🫧 BEING GUM HAS ADVANTAGES
Bounce, deform, stick and use your elasticity to survive obstacles that would be considerably less pleasant if you had bones.
🎵 ADAPTIVE SOUNDTRACK
The soundtrack reacts continuously to what is happening: cruising, danger, high-intensity sequences and boss encounters flow between different arrangements of the same musical identity.
♾️ ENDLESS FLOW
When the campaign is over, keep going through a procedurally assembled endless course and chase distance, speed, stars and candy records.
👾 BOSSES, SECRETS & QUESTIONABLE LORE
Seven worlds, bosses, collectibles, rankings, Free Play, achievements and a museum documenting considerably more gum lore than anyone requested.
🎮 PLAY YOUR WAY
Keyboard, touchscreen and gamepad supported. English and Spanish included.
A game that wasn't supposed to exist
GUMFLOW started during a sleepless night with a simple question:
“Why aren't there more platformers built around the feeling of flying through stages like Chemical Plant?”
Then somebody suggested that the protagonist should be a piece of chewing gum.
Things escalated.
What began as a tiny browser prototype turned into seven worlds, bosses, an adaptive soundtrack, an endless mode and native desktop builds.
GUMFLOW was developed as an experiment in AI-assisted game development, with its design emerging iteratively through playing, changing and rebuilding the prototype.
The source code is available on GitHub.
100% gum. 0% obedience.
